Joan has been a tax accountant with Kolodziej, Eisen & Fey, LLC since 2002.  In 2009, Joan became a Certified Financial Planner passing the CFP® Certification Exam.  Joan specializes in providing tax services and financial planning advice to individuals of all ages.

Prior to joining Kolodziej, Eisen & Fey, LLC, Joan practiced accounting in diverse capacities.  She began her career with the public accounting firm Touche, Ross and Co. (currently Deloitte and Touche) in the audit department.  Subsequently, she transitioned to industry accounting as a Senior Cost Analyst with the Gillette Company.  Later in her career, she taught accounting courses at Moraine Valley Community College as an adjunct faculty member while working in a small regional accounting office.

Joan regularly attends continuing professional education classes concentrating her study in the areas of tax law and financial planning. Joan is a member of the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society and the Financial Planning Association.
